Keith, President and Co-Founder


With 20 years in construction and more than 15 years as a Safety Consultant, Keith brings his experience and understanding of both the construction industry and OSHA procedures to U.S. Compliance Systems.

Since 1999, Keith has represented hundreds of contractors during informal and formal conferences with OSHA, as well as court representation before the Occupational Safety and Health Review Commission. Cases have ranged from "other than serious" to "willful" violations. Unfortunately, some of his work has involved protecting clients' rights in cases where fatalities had occurred. This experience has provided the staff at U.S. Compliance Systems with a complete understanding of exactly what contractors have to do to be OSHA compliant.

Charles, Co-Founder


For years, Charles oversaw safety program development. Charles has personally written hundreds of safety meetings, designed special forms to make compliance easier, and provided the foundation for U.S. Compliance Systems safety programs as they exist today.  Charles has retired from full-time safety program development, but still serves as a consultant to U.S. Compliance Systems staff.

Mandarin, Operations Manager


Mandarin has worked with U.S. Compliance Systems since May 2013. Prior to that, she worked in the healthcare industry for 12 years.  Mandarin earned her MBA in 2010 from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, OH. She also completed her 30-hour OSHA Outreach Training in 2013.  As Operations Manager, Mandarin is always looking for ways that U.S. Compliance Systems can streamline processes both internally and for clients.

Jan, Accounts Manager


Jan has been with U.S. Compliance Systems, Inc. since its inception. She has served as Office Manager and Accounts Manager. She handles all internal bookkeeping, payroll, purchasing, and manages client account transactions.

Efrem, Director of Client Services

Efrem worked part-time for the company until March 2007, when he came on as a full-time employee to help manage the company website.

In 2010, Efrem took on his current position as Director of Client Services in which he manages all of our Managed Safety System accounts. He makes sure that all MSS client projects are submitting their safety documents in a timely manner. He develops and maintains the safety forms and helps conduct Safety Committee Meetings with all MSS clients.

Efrem's previous work experience includes Valvoline and park services at the Summit County Metro Parks system. He has been able to bring his experience working with vehicle maintenance, shop maintenance and repair, as well as landscaping, equipment maintenance, facility maintenance, facility repair, nature preservation and other tasks to US Compliance Systems.

Lea, Director of CRM & Social Media


Lea has been working for US Compliance Systems since November 2005 as a part-time employee. As of January 2014, Lea came onboard as a full-time employee taking over the role of Director of CRM and Social Media.

Lea graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Phoenix in Hospitality Management in 2011.

Having worked in the restaurant industry for several years, Lea brought her customer service experience and social media marketing expertise to US Compliance Systems, where she has implemented our client newsletter to keep our clients up-to-date with company changes and product/service updates.

Brandon, Program Developer & Client Services Specialist


Brandon has worked with U.S. Compliance Systems since June 2014. Prior to that, he worked in the car dealership business for 5 years. 

Brandon completed his 30-hour OSHA Outreach Training in October 2014.  He is one of our main Client Service Specialists who handles the incoming calls and assists with our online messaging.

He started out working with Efrem on the Managed Safety System (MSS), specifically working on safety documents and forms.  Since 2016, Brandon has been working with David on safety program development.  He does most of our 3rd party requests and program editing.

David, Director of Educational Services


David has worked with U.S. Compliance Systems since November 2013 and he completed the 30-hour OSHA Outreach Training in 2014. Prior to that, he taught Industrial Arts for 8 years after earning his Master of Education in 2004 from The Ohio State University.  He also worked in the construction industry throughout college and during his summers while teaching.

Adapting what he has learned from years working alongside Charles, David now oversees our safety program development.  Using his previous construction experience along with client feedback, David ensures that our safety programs continue to evolve to match the specific individual needs of our clients while complying with federal, state, and 3rd party safety requirements.

David also leads the development of our online training courses.  He draws on his teaching experience to design training courses that present the material in a way that is easy to follow, makes sense to the trainee, and thoroughly covers the safety requirements.

Tracy, Client Services Specialist


Tracy has worked with U.S. Compliance Systems since October 2011. His previous 25 years was in over-the-road transportation, from dispatch to Chief Operating Officer, of a regional refrigerated trucking company. His responsibilities are mostly customer service, but also include help in the development of our online training courses and keeping all updates current in the Client Center.
