Frequently Asked Questions

1) How can you customize a safety program specifically for my company without talking with us or visiting my company?

U.S. Compliance Systems has been providing safety programs for over 15 years. Our understanding of OSHA and the specific requirements of both general contractors and specific trades allows us the ability of designing a program that will be appreciated for the type of work you do.

2) Can I make changes to my program?

Yes. Certain changes can be accomplished within the system and others might have to be made by us. If you have a specific request, you may contact us at: clientservices@uscompliancesystems.com

3) Can I talk to someone if I have questions regarding my program or OSHA?

Yes. Depending on the service you choose, you are given an option to get answers to your OSHA related questions on-line, via email, or by phone. A compliance expert will answer your questions immediatly, or, if research is required, we will get back to you as soon as possible.

4) How can you offer your on-line services for such a low price?

By providing service on-line, we are able to provide services to more contractors. Changes and upgrades can be provided to many as easy as one. If, for example, OSHA changes a standard or requirement, it will be immediately reflected in your program when you login.

5) Will we have to meet with OSHA if you represent us?

One of the great benefits of our OSHA Representation service is that we will deal with OSHA for you. All decisions are left to you, but we act as your representative and ensure that you get the best possible outcome for your situation.

6) Is there a way to stop OSHA citations?

Yes. If you meet OSHA's requirements, you can stop an OSHA citation, even if OSHA has a picture of one of your employees violating an OSHA regulation. Please refer to our report, "Stopping the OSHA Citation Cycle" located in our Free Compliance Tools page.

7) If you represent my company with OSHA, will we be targeted by OSHA in the future?

Absolutely not! OSHA does not, and cannot, target individual companies. By learning your rights and responsibilities (part of the process of representation), you substantially lessen your potential for future citations.
